A word of Editor-in-Chief

I would first of all like to extend my sincere thanks to the Rector of King Saud University, Vice Rector for Graduate Studies & Scientific Research, and Saudi Physical Therapy Association (SPTA), which has entrusted Editor and members of the Editorial Board with this serious responsibility towards the readers of the Saudi Journal of Physical Therapy (SJPT). 

This journal is the official publication of the Saudi Physical Therapy Association and newly established. We expect to publish the first issue of this peer-reviewed publication in 2018. It will focus on the clinical interests of physical therapists as well as those of other healthcare workers who interface with physical therapists.  Naturally, all submitted manuscripts will go through an official peer review process since it’s a peer review journal.

Newly appointed members of the Board have valuable expertise, experience and already published several papers in prestige international journals. They are willing to assist and support development of SJPT.  I hope and believe that with the excellent collaboration of all members of the Editorial Board of SJPT we will contribute to the improvement of the quality of the journal in order to ensure a high level of recognition of the journal internationally.

The work on promoting and improving quality and recognisability of the journal in the today’s highly competitive environment is the greatest challenge for each editor-in-chief. Consequently, to achieve this objective and survive in this environment interesting scientific papers and a successful cooperation between the editorial staff, Editorial Board, reviewers, authors, and readers will inspire. I hope this good practice will increase the reputation of the journal.

Editor-in-Chief & members of the Board (SJPT) welcome all authors who are going to recognise our journal as a proper medium for spreading and presenting their research results, experience, and expertise relating to physical Therapy field.
